From LCVs to NEVs: Thailand’s recent automotive value chain developments with Guest speaker Prof. Kriengkrai Techakanont, Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand and and Prof Justin Barnes, Toyota Wessels Institute for Manufacturing Studies Manufacturing Ambassador and an Associate Professor at the GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science), University of Pretoria.
Prof. Techakanont and Prof. Barnes co-authored an article (with Prof Anthony Black of UCT) on the comparative competitiveness of the South African and Thai automotive industries in 2017. Both have a keen interest in the development trajectories of the two industries.
