The UKZN Foundation won four Bronze Awards at the recent national Marketing, Advancement and Communication in Education (MACE) Excellence Awards Ceremony held at the University of Western Cape. The awards take place annually to celebrate the excellence and achievements of specialists and practitioners in marketing, advancement, and communication in the South African Higher Education sector.
The UKZN Foundation won for their 2021 UKZN Foundation Annual Report and 2022 UKZN Foundation Annual Report in the Printed and digital annual reports category. The UKZN Philanthropy Digital Magazine won in the Digital: Internal magazines and newsletters category while Operations Manager (acting) Mrs Melissa Mungroo won in the category Writing for the Web for the article UKZN Addresses Student Food Insecurity with Sandwich Drive.
